[fname], last week I covered questions #9 & #10 from my report on the 12 Do's, Don'ts And Questions To Ask Before Hiring a Tax Preparation Individual To Do Your Personal Taxes.

This week here are the items #11 & #12 of the do's and don'ts to ask, as well as "keep in mind" before choosing a tax preparer:

#11 - DO look for and ensure the tax preparer signs and includes their PTIN. Paid preparers must sign returns and include their PTIN as required by law. The preparer must also give you a copy of the return.

#12 - DO report abusive tax preparers to the IRS. You can and should immediately report abusive tax return preparers and suspected tax fraud to the IRS. Use Form 14157, Complaint: Tax Return Preparer.

Remember if you are paying someone to prepare your federal income tax return for you it is good common sense and makes financial sense for you to choose that person carefully and wisely.

That's why I offer a FREE 30-Minute Consultation where you can call (or call to schedule a time) and tell me about your situation or company, ask me questions and see if it makes sense to talking more about becoming your accounting firm.

All you need to do is call me at (480) 641-8100.

I hope you enjoy the information!

PS. Just a reminder that the report comes in a PDF you can download. You can use the direct link below to go to the page with a download link:
