[fname], unfortunately we live in a litigious society.  Not only are there an abundant number of laws and procedures you have to follow as an employer but as a dentist you additional occupational exposures to you, your staff and your practice.

To protect yourself against it is best to be fully aware of all the above so you are in compliance and don't risk your time & money having to go to court to defend yourself.

That is why I am highly recommending you attend the 2014 Legal Updates and Hot Topics For Dental Practices seminar on Friday, January 17, 2014 presented by Anita York, Partner at Scott & Whitehead.  Detail are below and a link to the enrollment form.

2014 Legal Updates and Hot Topics For Dental Practices
This course meets the Board’s requirements for
3.50 units of continuing education.

WHY ATTEND?:  Employees continue to sue employers on a regular basis, and the law continues to change in ways that make the likelihood of employer error higher then ever.  As we enter 2014, it is imperative that dental practices know what they must do, what they may do, and what they may not do, in areas such as employee compensation (including overtime and bonuses), alternative workweek schedules, leaves of absence, social networking posts, and disability accommodation. In this program, we will discuss all of those topics, and much more.

2014 Legal Updates and Hot Topics  FREE Lunch Wage and Hour Basics
Topics will include new laws for 2014, recent notable employment cases, and current trends in employment law claims and lawsuits. At approximately 11:00, we will serve lunch, during which time we will have open forum to discuss your employment issues and questions. After lunch, we will cover wage and hour rules and requirements, alternative workweek schedules, paid time off rules, and related topics.
