On Tuesday, Dec. 19, Congress began a day-long voting process for the tax reform bill, previously referred to as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and ended Wednesday as both chambers voted along party lines to approve it.  The bill is now with the president to sign.

We have gotten many enquiries and questions on how clients will be impacted by the bill.  Our Firm has closely been reading through the Bill.  We will send out email blasts that will highlight the key provisions of the new tax laws.

However, many of the provisions in the bill will require the IRS to opine on the specifics of implementation. Consequently, we want to be prudent and await the IRS interpretation and guidance on implementation of the law.

In the meantime, kindly exercise some patience and be rest assured that we will provide more in-depth guidance and analysis as soon as they become available and possible to do so.

Regards, Michael
