[fname], in the last email I talked about taking the BERI survey and if you scored Low on Financial readiness and Low on Mental readiness, you are what we call a Stay and Grow business owner.

 

If you want to learn more about this type of owner, go to page 5 in my free report.  Today I'm going to go over what type of owner you are if you score LOW on Financial Readiness and HIGH on Mental readiness.

 

If you score Low on Financial readiness and High on Mental readiness, you are what we call a Get Me Out (at the Highest Price) owner.  You can read more about this type of owner in my report on page 6.

 

These owners want out of the business yesterday. Problem is the majority of their wealth is locked inside the business, and this is how their lifestyles are currently maintain. These owners have few options for an exit other than an outright sale to a synergistic buyer.

One of the foundational concepts in the exit planning process is that most business owners have a number of options for exiting their business. In fact, however, for business owners who fit this category, the options are quite limited. These owners have not prepared themselves financially for their business exit enter highly motivated to stop working and to leave the business.

Selling the business appears to be the best, and likely the only, option available. When the business sells, these highly motivated owners will leave the business and hope to get as much money at the closing is possible.
